The lying cable tricep extension builds serious tricep strength and size. It keeps constant tension on your triceps throughout the entire movement for maximum muscle growth.
1. Set up a bench near a low cable pulley and attach a straight bar or rope handle. 2. Lie on the bench and grab the cable attachment with both hands, arms extended above your chest for the lying cable tricep extension starting position. 3. Keep your upper arms still and slowly lower the weight by bending only at your elbows until your forearms are parallel to the floor. 4. Push the weight back up by straightening your elbows, focusing on squeezing your triceps at the top. 5. Complete your lying cable tricep extension reps with controlled movement, never letting the weight stack touch between reps.
