Exercise Description

The power clean from blocks exercise builds explosive power and strength in your shoulders, traps, and legs. It's perfect for athletes wanting to jump higher and move faster.

How To

1. Set the barbell on blocks at knee height and stand close with feet hip-width apart 2. Grip the bar with hands slightly wider than shoulders, keeping your back straight and chest up 3. Pull the bar explosively upward, shrugging your shoulders and extending your hips and knees simultaneously 4. As the bar reaches chest height, quickly drop under it and catch it at shoulder level with elbows forward 5. Stand tall to complete the power clean from blocks movement, then lower the bar back to the blocks with control
